Step one Get drilling! Drill all the holes into the (turret)board Step two When the (turret)board is drilled it is time to put the turrets in! I made a hole in a bolt and used that as a tool to hold the turrets Place the turret upside down into the bolt. Place the drilled board over the turret. This is were the second bolt comes into play. It is used to keep both sides of the board at the same level so the turrets will stand up straight when you're finished. Step three Use a center punch to hit the living daylights out of it! Nah, just joking. The turrets might seem strong but the are pretty week actually. If you hit it too hard you can damage it (although it does need a firm blow to keep it in place). Step four Stand in awe! A perfectly looking turret board! It is not a problem if the turrets are damaged or slanted because they are made from a soft alloy. You can either drill them out or use plier. Both work fine (i've tested it more than once). |
